One-Piece Plywood Seat and Back,
Wood, plywood, brass tacks,
measures approximately 18 1/8" H x 8 5/8" x 10" D,
Seat pierced with star in circle in rectangle, back pierced with the word "PET" above "Y" under arc,
Marking, impressed on back left of "Y" in rectangle; "GARDNER'S PATENT MAY 21 1872",
Exhibited at Brooklyn Museum,
